Paradise Power has strategically rostered its staff within Wellingtons three main regions, being Porirua, Wellington CBD and the Hutt Valley, to allow better utilisation of our resources and ensure a prompt and rapid response to any incident. These operators are rostered 24/7 ensuring full coverage at all times. When jobs are received, we analyse the requirements of the task paying particular attention to the following:
- Hazards.
- Regulatory / customer requirements (Lineman, Electrician, Inspector).
- Vehicle type (may require 4x4 access).
- Tools and equipment required.
- Specialist requirements.
Our Controller then allocates the task to the closest operator meeting the task requirements and qualifications. That operator will respond to the job. At all times an employee with a suitably equipped vehicle will be available to respond in a timely manner to any form of request. This may include faults, power failures, no hot water or an electrical installation job.
Any other vehicle may be used when the closest operator is committed to another request and /or an unforeseen event has occurred that may cause an immediate threat to safety or an undue inconvenience to the customer. This may also include the company Management responding from the office if necessary.
